Green Breakfast Smoothie
Sweet, creamy and secretly loaded with greens. Banana and mango hide the spinach completely — kids never know.
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup frozen mango or pineapple
- 2 big handfuls baby spinach
- 1 cup (240ml) milk of choice
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon nut butter or chia seeds
Method
- Add the liquid to the blender first, then the yogurt, fruit and spinach.
- Blend on high until completely smooth, 45–60 seconds.
- Add a splash more milk if it's too thick.
- Pour and drink right away while it's cold and frothy.
Cook's notes
- Liquid on the bottom = a smoother blend and a happier blender.
- Freeze ripe bananas in chunks so you always have smoothie base ready.
- Spinach is the mildest green here; banana and mango mask it entirely.
